MEET SANDY - DIRECTOR OF THE SHOE MERCHANT

What shoes can we expect to see you wear when we come in store? 

Ecco - I really like the danish design in the Ecco brand and the shoes are comfortable to wear all day so that I can focus on my customers' needs. 

How long have you worked here? 

I started working in my Dad's shoe store from a young age so I think I come as part of the shop fit these days. I can recall my afternoon's after school drinking a milkshake, listening and learning from my Dad as he strived to give his customer's the best possible service.

What is your favourite thing about your job?

Every day I get to meet and chat with our lovely customers. I feel really satisfied when I can help someone feel great in their footwear to help them have a more comfortable and better day! 

MEET AMY - DIGITAL MARKETING

What shoes can we expect to see you wear when we come in store? 

Brooks - Adrenaline. As a mum of two young kids (5 and under 1), I have to admit that I spend a lot of my time in active wear. You will see me running around in my Brooks Adrenaline running shoes. They take me from the gym to school drop off so that I can spring into the shop faster! 

How long have you worked here? 

I met my husband (Sandy) 15 years ago and was instantly welcomed into the family business. Many nights have been had of sitting around the dinner table talking all things shoes! 

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I love that I can be creative with our business and come up with new ways to showcase what our awesome team do.
